Raito and her brother Refuto are a pair of sibling blacksmiths in the afterlife who cater
specifically to shinigami. Raito is the business manager and is personally responsible for
drumming up customers and hyping Refuto's skill with repairs.
Much more outgoing than her younger brother, Raito first encounters Rinne by attacking his
scythe only so she can apologize and offer up a coupon to the Mikazuki Store in hopes of
drumming up business. In fact, she's such a shrewd businesswoman that she isn't above
causing disturbances and releasing restless spirits just to sell a product that might aide
in recapturing them.
While Raito is genuinely proud of her younger twin, she often has to make up for his
shortcomings. Because of Refuto's antisocial personality, Raito is constantly having to knock
him around, demanding he apologize to customers when he's rude or if his repairs have
unintended consequences for their scythe's owner.
The Meaning Behind the Name - 来兎
Raito's name is written with two kanji which mean "coming" and "rabbit". Her name is pronounced as "Raito" (Right) in the original Japanese, a contrast to her brother "Refuto" (Left).
