Mainasu
(Negative)
While at a Black Cat By Contract meeting, Rokumon picks up a nasty afterlife flu, which he proceeds to pass on to Rinne upon returning to the world of the living. Sakura feels sorry for Rinne, who is too poor to afford any treatment, though Tsubasa warns her against feeling sympathy for Rinne just because he's sick. Eventually Sakura explains Rinne's poverty to Tsubasa, and notes that she's surprised that Tamako, who seems to be a genuinely nice person, would saddle Rinne with the burden of her debts. Soon a large teddy bear in a doctor's outfit and a wind-up nurse arrive to treat Rinne, claiming that they were sent by a relative. Rinne realizes that their syringes are filled with poison, and unmasks the teddy bear doctor, realizing its a grim reaper damashigami. Rokumon volunteers to turn the dispatched damashigami in for a reward, but upon returning tells Rinne that their bank account has been drained. Suddenly inside Rinne's tiny home a storm of IOUs fills the air and a handsome young man arrives who Rinne quickly recognizes as his father.

Damashigami kanpanii
(Damashigami Company)
Rinne is shocked to her his father speak of his mother, and recalls a scene from many years ago when he was living with Tamako and his grandfather. Hearing something in his room, the family rushed to find Sabato stealing money from Rinne's piggy bank. When little Rinne told his father he was saving up to go and visit his mother (who he believed lived in a faraway town), Sabato carelessly told him his mother was already dead and that he would pay back the money he borrowed. Now Sabato teases Rinne with the chance to meet his mother, and opens a door revealing dozens of human and damashigami women, all of whom beg Rinne to choose them. Sabato reveals that he's decided to get married to one of his many girlfriends, and the since he can not choose one of them, he'd let Rinne do it for him and inherit the Damashigami Company. Rinne refuses, speculating that the company is most likely in debt due to his father's lack of thriftiness. Because of Rinne's refusal, Sabato dumps Tsubasa and Sakura through a trap door, and tells Rinne that he will hold them hostage until Rinne agrees to inherit the company. Rinne rushes off to save them, but both Tsubasa and Sakura easily walk out of the prison cells with little effort.

Shuuninshiki
(Inauguration Ceremony)
Rinne searches through the Damashigami Company headquarters for Sakura in vain, when he is suddenly surrounded by a group of Damashigami girls all hoping to date him. They are able to pin him down, until Tsubasa comes along, quite angered by Rinne's apparent fickleness. His ashes manage to distract the girls, and Rinne escapes to look for Sakura. Meanwhile Sakura is nearly captured by some wandering Damashigami in an elevator, when Tsubasa arrives and dispatches them. Rinne, Tsubasa and Sakura all arrive at the lavish banquet that Sabato is throwing (on Rinne's dime), where Sabato announces that Rinne will chose to marry one of the damashigami. Rinne refuses, and his father needles him, asking if he is in love with human girl. Rinne sidesteps the question, prompting Sabato to challenge him to a fight using his flaming wheel Kyuketsukasha attack. Rinne says if he wins he'll destroy the Damashigami Company, while if his father is the victor he'll agree to get engaged to a damashigami and inherit the company.

33: 吸血火車
Kyuketsukasha
(Kyuketsukasha)
Rinne and Sabato square off in the ring and the stakes are high. If Sabato wins, Rinne must marry a damashigami girl, while if Rinne beats his father, he'll dissolve the Damashigami Company. As the battle begins Rinne attacks with his scythe, and Sabato counters with his flaming wheel, the Kyuketsukasha. Whatever touches the wheel immediately transforms into it's monetary value, and Sabato wields it expertly, claiming Rinne's scythe, his employees clothing and much of the silverware used at the party. Meanwhile Rokumon runs into a mysterious person wearing a white seal suit that that provides him with a map that he shows to Sakura. While the battle rages, Sakura finds that the map takes her to a locker with a keycode lock. With Rinne weaponless and his back against the wall, he tosses the expensive wagyu black beef into the Kyuketsukasha in order to pay the delivery man. Shocked at having to pay for anything, Sabato is momentary stunned and coughs up blood at the very idea, allowing Rinne an opening. Sabato warns his son though that hidden somewhere in his company he has a forgery of Rinne's personal seal so that he can rob his account anytime he wants.

(Handprint)
Sakura and Rokumon find Sabato's safe, but it's locked with a key and has a passcode as well. The safe opens an a giant piece of wagyu black beef topples out onto Sakura while Rokumon fights off the security guards. Meanwhile in the ring Sabato has Rinne at a disadvantage. He tells Rinne that he also needs to get a new copy of his handprint, which is what has allowed him to use Rinne as a cosigner on all of his debts. Just then Sakura and Rokumon arrive bearing Rinne's lost scythe. It seems that everything Sabato hits with his Kyuketsukasha technique is zapped into his safe. He warns he'll keep forcing them to return to the safe by using his weapon, but then the mysterious seal appears and takes the flaming wheel away from him. Backed into a corner, he sprays Rinne's hand with spraypaint. A sea of marriage certificates appears as all of the damashigami girls worry that Sakura is trying to win Rinne from them. Unfortunately for Rinne, his handprint happens to land on the back of one of the forms, much to Sabato's excitement.

Iya janai no ka
(You Don't Disapprove of That?)
Rinne's battle with his father comes to a sudden stop as Sabato realizes that Rinne's handprint was placed on a document he had forged entitling him to borrow 5 million yen. Sabato tries to get Rinne to slap him on the grounds of making up for causing him so much trouble, but everyone points out he's simply trying to get another handprint from his son. Before he can say anything, the giant seal jumps into the ring and slaps Sabato, revealing herself to be Tamako, Sabato's mother. Tamako quickly announces that Rinne is interested in Sakura, which makes all of the girls stop trying to win his hand in marriage, but shocks Tsubasa. On their way back to the land of the living, Sakura says casually that she and Rinne don't actually have any feelings for another other, which greatly pleases Tsubasa, but hurts Rinne's feelings. Back home, Sakura thinks to herself how relieved she is that Rinne won't have to get married, while Rinne sulks about Sakura rejecting him. Back in the afterlife, all of the damashigami have caught Rokumon's cold, and had to temporarily close down the Damashigami Company.

After seeing Rinne holding hands with Ageha, Sakura walks home, and quickly discovers quite a few ghosts crowding around her. Rinne, intent on investigating who was videotaping Sakura, heads out as well, but discovers the stairs of his home have been linked to the afterlife. The secretary presents Rinne with an engagement ring to give to Sakura, so they can marry and inherit the Damashigami Company. Sakura explains that she and Rinne are only classmates and don't have feelings for another another, which hurts Rinne's feelings quite a bit. Suddenly Ageha arrives and tries to attack the beautiful blonde secretary, who seems shocked to see her.
