Episode Summary by Yuji Nunokawa [1]

It's been half a year since the program started. Thanks to everyone's support, we have maintained high viewer ratings. The number of letters from fans is increasing day by day, which is very encouraging. Now, in order to make this work that everyone supports even more beloved than before, we have changed the structure a little beginning in April. We will change the previous double feature to a single feature, and we intend to make it a more enjoyable work with rich content. [2] We also have a new ending theme. The opening theme is still sung by Yuko Matsutani, but for the ending, Helen Sasano has had the baton passed to her, singing Lum's sad love in a bossa nova style. I'm sure everyone will like this song, "Forlorn Aren't You?". [3] So, all the staff are working extremely hard to make Urusei Yatsura, which has been completely revamped, even more beloved than before. Please look forward to it.

Highlights:

Episode 24 Beware the Earmuffs!

Ataru and Ten-chan were walking and bought ear muffles from a strangely dressed man wearing sunglasses, a mask, and a ski cap. When Ataru and Ten put on the ear muffles...they suddenly switched bodies. They looked at each other in shock. This strangely dressed man was actually an alien, but of course they had no way of knowing. Even so, their bodies and minds had switched, so it was a huge mess. But there was no way Ataru wouldn't take advantage of this phenomenon. Ataru, now in Ten-chan's body, flew off into the sky, screaming, "Don't touch women like that." Unable to bear this, Ten-chan, now in Ataru's body, chased after him, but crashed into a wall and fell down. Then Lum appeared. Ataru, now in Ten-chan's body, pointed to Ten-chan, now in Ataru's body...
