Ranma 1/2 "A Very Joyous Anime Presentation"

A Ranma 1/2 anime event is going to be held on June 22nd in Shinjuku, Ward 9. The event will feature new goods, a live dubbing session, and a preview of the second season of Ranma 1/2.In attendance will be Kappei Yamaguchi, Megumi Hayashibara, Noriko Hidaka and Rei Sakuma. It is likely that the voice of Mousse will also be revealed at the event as the character is teased in the official artwork. Source: Ranma PR

Takahashi Recommends Momose Akira no hatsukoi hantan chuu.

Rumiko Takahashi has recommended Shinta Harekawa's Momose Akira no hatsukoi hantan chuu. (百瀬アキラの初恋破綻中。) manga, and her quote appears on the upcoming release of volume 3. Her quote is as follows, "I'm looking forward to seeing Momose-san's hometown introduction. She's running around with all her might, planning her dreams. Her bravery sometimes makes me cry!!" Harekawa-san's response on Twitter was as follows: "Ranma 1/2 was the first manga I ever read, and it was an important work that inspired me to want to try drawing manga myself, because I love manga so much. Takahashi Recommends Land of Monsters

Rumiko Takahashi has recommended Mitsutani's Lnad of Monsters (魔物の国/Mamano no kuni) manga, and her quote appears on the upcoming release of volume 1. Her quote is as follows, "I love everything about it, from the smell of death and monsters, to the feel of the stone castle, to the moist images that envelop them in a fantastical way, to Ravi's innocent eyes."
