Kin'u & Gyokuto

Kin'u and Gyokuto are Sango and Miroku's eldest children. The twins were born a few years prior to their younger brother, Hisui and are also eldest among the children of the previous generation. Both are cheerful girls who seem to have inherited their father's more relaxed outlook upon life and are a strong contrast to their more serious minded younger brother, Hisui.

Kin'u, the elder sister, followed in her father's footsteps and became a Buddhist nun with strong spiritual powers. She is able to use her paper ofuda to battle against demons, however much of the demon slaying she typically leaves to her younger brother. She makes pilgrimages deep into the mountain to check up on her father, Miroku, who has been away training in recent years.

Gyokuto followed her mother's path and was trained to construct demon slayer tools and weapons. While not a trained combatant herself she has shown herself capable to using the tools she helps manufacture while maintaining a safe distance from danger. Both of the sisters dote and tease their serious-minded little brother leaving him to remark that he often finds his family difficult to deal with.
