Jinenji's father is a demon who died leaving Jinenji and his mother alone. Unfortunately Jinenji did not inherit his good looks.

Shoga (生姜)

Bunza is a feline demon who has sought out Totosai in hopes of receiving a powerful sword in order to help save his village. After meeting Inuyasha he becomes impressed by the half-demon's skill.

Shuran (秋嵐)

Shuran is one of the Panther Devas with the ability to manipulate lightning. He and his teammates are trying to ressurect the Panther King. The kanji in his name translates to "autumn storm".

Karan (夏嵐)

Karan is the fire user of the Panther Devas. The panthers are the sworn enemies of the dog demons which brought them into conflict with Inuyasha's father. His name translates to "summer storm".

Toran (冬嵐)

Toran is the de facto leader of the Panther Devas, and has the ability to manipulate ice. She and the other panthers are sacrificed in order to revive their king. Her name translates to "winter storm".

Shunran (春嵐)

Shunran's special ability is to create illusions which disorients her opponents. She comes into conflict with Inuyasha and Jaken during the battle to ressurect the Panther King. Her name translates to "spring storm".

Kuroro (クロロ)

Kuroro is a twin-tailed cat demon like Kirara. Initially she is mistaken for Kirara who has disappeared. Hunted by villagers Kuroro tries to protect her newborn kittens.

Tesso (鉄鼠)

Although it resembles an ordinary cave, this creature lures priestesses inside of it and then seals its entrance and attempts to kill its trapped victim.

Ippo (blue and maroon stripe vest), Jippo (brown vest), Sanpo (green vest), Shiho (blue bib) and Goho (red bib) all witness the Wind Scar tear through the forest and kill a demon. When Shippo emerges to taunt the corpse they mistake him for a powerful demon and become his diciples.

Akitoki is the ancestor of Kagome's classmate. He gets involved in their battle against Kaguya when she attempts to steal a family heirloom that belongs to him. He later returns when the Naginata of Kenkon, another heirloom is stolen by Hoshyomi. He later reappears in episodes 137, 138, 139 and 140.

Sounga (叢雲牙)

A powerful sword that was forged as a companion blade to Tessaiga and Tenseiga. This sword proves to be too powerful for even the mightiest of demons. The sword falls into the hands of Takemaru and reanimates him decades after his death. Sounga is written with the kanji for "gathering clouds" and "fang".

Roku's mischevious twin brother. His name means "orange".

As much of a trouble maker as his brother, Roku is Dai's identical twin. The only way to tell them apart is their reversed colored hair. Her name means "green".

Asagi (浅葱)

Even though she's young Asagi has taken on the role of protector of the other half-demon children of Horai Island. She is very protective of her friends and is willing to sacrifice herself for their safety. Her name means "pale blue-green".

Gora (剛羅)

A gigantic turtle demon who inhabits the ocean surrounding Horai island. Too massive to come ashore, Gora instead unleashes his incredibly powerful attacks on the island itself. Gora, Jura, Kyora and Ryura all have the kanji "羅" (ra) in their names which means "thin silk".

Jura (獣羅)
Voice: Takeshi Kusao & Jason Simpson
Carrying a powerful cannon known as Saitenho on his shoulder that he stole from his opponents years earlier Jura is a fearsome opponent with lightning fast speed. Extremely aggressive and violent he faces off against Sango, Miroku and Kirara singlehandedly and holds his own without any problems. Gora, Jura, Kyora and Ryura all have the kanji "羅" (ra) in their names which means "thin silk".

Kyora (凶羅)

Kyora marked Sesshomaru in a battle years earlier and has desired a fight to the death ever since. In their first meeting Kyora killed a demon who was hunting him and took the weapon Kojakukisen. Kyora possesses the ability to summon flame birds which he utilizes in his attacks. Gora, Jura, Kyora and Ryura all have the kanji "羅" (ra) in their names which means "thin silk".

Ryura (龍羅)

The leader of the Shitosen who have takend over Horai Island, Ryura became a sworn enemy to Inuyasha years earlier when he marked him in battle. Upon Inuyasha's return to the island the two renew their feud. Armed with the blades Huzinga and Raijinga, Ryura is a match for Inuyasha and his Tessaiga. Gora, Jura, Kyora and Ryura all have the kanji "羅" (ra) in their names which means "thin silk".
