Characters

Totetsu

One of Kirinmaru's Four Perils, the voracious eater known as Totetsu possesses the orange Rainbow Pearl and uses his vortex-like mouth to devour priests which he claims are one of his favorite delicacies. Consequently he comes across Miroku who has secluded himself in training as he struggles to come to grips with a life devoid of his curse-cum-blessing the Wind Tunnel.

Totetsu allies himself with Konton and the pair prove to be a powerful combination of muscle and mind as he battles Moroha while the twins are lost in Konton's seemingly endless illusionary world. With Konton killed the illusion fades and the Half-Demon Princesses are able to reunite. It seems Totetsu might be able to best them alone, but the sudden arrival of Sesshomaru makes him think better of trying.

Totetsu is driven away after failing to eat Miroku but eventually returns to attack Towa while she is spending time with Riku. Angered that Totetsu would interrupt them, Riku turns against his supposed comrade and engages him in battle. Despite his powerful maw, Riku is able to slice the demon's head off, which is then collected by Moroha who is happy to have his bounty.
