Characters

Zero

Zero is the sister of Kirinmaru. Like her brother, she is also a full-blooded demon who looks down upon humans and half-demons. Due to a prophecy, she believes that a half-demon will kill Kirinmaru and as a result she has taken it upon herself to exterminate any that could pose a threat to her sibling.

Zero had a deep love for Sesshomaru's father and was angered by his eventual relationship not only with Sesshomaru's mother, but also Izayoi, the human mother of Inuyasha. When Zero heard of the death of Sesshomaru's father she was so distraught that she made a wish upon the Shikon Jewel to seal away her own demonic powers. The tear she shed was turned into the Rainbow Pearls which were eventually scattered, causing Zero's powers to be cast to the winds. Riku acts on Zero's behalf to regain the pearls and return her demonic powers to her.

Her brother's unwillingness to savagely kill the Half-Demon Princesses puts her at odds with him. She does not understand his aloofness towards the danger the girls pose to him given the prophecy that suggests one of them may kill him.
