Relevance to Maison Ikkoku

Famous matsuri themes in anime include Ranma 1/2 and Otaku no Video, as well as in Maison Ikkoku when Kyoko visits Godai's college campus. In Maison Ikkoku episode 15, "The Play's the Thing, Not the Playing Around! The Show Must Go On!" the viewer can see students dressed as an Alien, and even Superman.
