February 2, 2025 - Added a new note to the Help manga.

October 2 - Updated the Shape of Gluttony summary and notes.

July 29 - Added Lovesickness to the Design Works section.

July 21 - Redesigned the discography to add Japanese and romaji titles to all releases.

June 15 - Added more information on the live-action drama and radio drama and reformatted that section.

June 14 - Added television ratings to each of the Rumiko Takahashi Anthology episodes.

May 28 - Added the newest Wednesday's Diary.

May 27 - Updated the Vivid Collection listing in our "About the Manga" section now that we have acquired that book.

April 4 - Added Ideal Daughter to the manga summaries section.

March 11 - Added the Power of Money collection to the About the Manga section and added the volume to the various manga collected therein.

January 30 - Linked our translation of a Kappei Yamaguchi interview from the same issue that A Thousand Years of Innocence appeared in on that story's notes.

October 20 - Finally found the cover of the Big Comic Original Zokan 1980 that has Wedded Bliss in it. Very special thanks to Cyclonearata for the scan!

October 19 - Added more notes to various series about what chapters of long running serials they were released alongside.

October 15 - Added a note about the live action filming locations to the Red Bouquet manga notes.

October 4 - We've redesigned Rumic World to version 4.0 which now features responsive web design for ideal viewing on desktop and mobile devices.

September 18 - Added a link in the manga summary to the advertisement to War Council that originally ran in Shonen Sunday the week it was printed.

September 11 - Added a new summary for "Preview The Next Volume of Hoshi Renge!!"

August 27 - Added new manga listings for a number of newly discovered essay manga including tributes to Hideo Azuma, Marley Caribu, Sensha Yoshida and Ishikawa-sensei, Do You Remember?

February 8 - Added The 40th Anniversary Big Comic Selection Short Story Masterpieces to the About the Manga section and updated "Cute Flower" to include that as one of its publication collections.

January 18, 2022 - We've fixed some misdirected links.

December 27 - We've added links from the Musicians pages to their respective lyrics and the artists names to each of the lyrics pages for ease of understanding.

December 14 - Added a note to Wrong for One's Age.

November 24 - We've added notes on a number of the four panel strips and discussed the format in the notes for each of them.

November 23 - Added the Obake no Q-Taro story to the Manga section.

October 21 - Cleaned up and clarified the summary for In Lieu of Thanks, thanks to Zorian for pointing it out.

October 4 - Added two new manga, In a Gentle Time..., and Tribute to Daijiro Morohoshi Part 2, as well as the Manga and Corona book to the Design Works section.

September 30 - Added notes for all the short stories from the Red Bouquet and Birds of Fate collections.

September 29 - Added notes for the short stories from The Managing Director's Dog collection, Revenge Doll and A Thousand Years of Innocence.

September 27 - Added notes for the short stories from the Tragedy of P collection.

September 21 - Added notes for That Darn Cat, When My Eyes Got Wings, Entrepeneurial Spirit, and Excuse Me for Being a Dog.

September 20 - Added notes for The Golden Gods of Poverty, Laughing Target, Maris the Supergal and Firetripper.

September 19 - The manga section is redone and has a location for detailed notes on each story as well as cover images of the magazines where each work was originally published.

September 18 - We've redone the OVA sections to list match our updates to the rest of the sites, linking the lyrics, adding the Japanese for the staff listing and more.

September 17 - I've updated the Rumiko Takahashi Anthology anime series page to have the new format with director, screenwriter and notes.

June 26 - I go back and forth about whether I should call "Dust Spurt!!" by the Viz title (Wasted Minds). I have decided to use the more authentic Japanese title as Viz's short story publications are long since out of print at the moment and if they ever do re-release them they will likely retitle it as well.

May 11 - I've added the summary for "The Woman From the Past" to the manga summaries.

March 3, 2021 - I found that I had mislinked the Diary of Kemo Kobiru chapter 3 images to chapter 2 so that is now mended.

November 12 - I've added the summary for a two-page short essay manga "Past the Point of Self-Control" about Takahashi's working life during the Corona Virus.

October 1, 2020 - Complete site redesign as part of the launch of Rumic World 3.0. Whole site redesign, much more imagery in the manga section, tons more stories added, more books, more information overall, more cultural notes. Tons of info in the Design Works section as well.

August 15, 2000- Rumic Theater goes online.
