Rumiko Takahashi began her career in Shonen Sunday in 1978. Starting in 1983, Shonen Sunday began running a section on the last page of the magazine alongside the table of contents. In this section, the mangaka of Shonen Sunday would talk about anything that came to mind, or in later years, answer a common question submited by readers. In 1979 she also had some of her earliest comments in Shonen Sunday Zokan.
