MyLumx13 Noizi Ito

Lum-chan is a very special person to me.

She has had a very big influence on me. I feel strange to be asked to participate in this way in a work that has had such a great influence on me. I remember Urusei Yatsura and Lum-chan very fondly, probably because they were the first manga books my parents bought for me when I was in the early elementary school years. I sang "Lum's Love Song" with my mother (laugh). I was a terrible artist, so I remember tracing Lum-chan on a piece of copying paper. I'm so happy and grateful to be able to talk about it here. I am sure that Lum-chan will continue to be a special part of my life. I hope that, like Takahashi-sensei, I will be able to make the viewers of my works feel something special about the characters I have drawn.
